Also, im XBMC gab es bisher die beiden folgenden einstellungen:
1.: Sync playback to display. Das ist die FALSCHE, denn hier wird das videomaterial auf die refresh-rate hoch/runterskaliert, die auf eurem TV eingestellt ist. Sie sollte jedenfalls OFF sein.
2.: Adjust display refresh rate to match video . Das ist die RICHTIGE. NUR SIE sollte EINgeschaltet sein.

Adjust display refresh rate to match video
Activate to automatically set the refresh rate which is best matched with the video that is playing (default off). This potentially allows for perfectly smooth video reproduction, as video material can be recorded in a variety of frame rates (23.976fps, 24fps, 25fps, 29.97fps, 30 fps, etc.) which need to be properly matched by the refresh rate of the display, in order to be displayed smoothly.
Sync playback to display
This setting enables syncing the video to the refresh rate of the monitor.

Finden tust du das ganze unter system --> videoplayback (die fundstelle ist nicht ganz akkurat, weil ich bis zum Abend nicht vor dem XMBC sitzen werde). Sie ist aber eigentlich recht einfach zu finden.
EDiT:Habs gefunden: From the Home menu, go to System > Video > Playback Check "Adjust display refresh rate to match video"
