I was able to fix it last night. When it detected the bluetooth keyboard, I had to right click and goto properties and under services I had to check the box to download the bluetooth HID driver. Apparently it wouldn't download the driver automatically. I also had to do a restart to get it working. Annoying, but after half a day of trying I got most of the kinks ironed out.

hilft nicht, weil da steht bei services genau nix bei mir, im BT services window. eh klar. ich run auch einen pc, keinen mac. ich will nur das fuck apple BT KB (weiss, alt; NICHT das alu, neu) auf win7 zum laufen kriegen.

auf xp wars schon mistig. aber auf win7 schlagt das problem wieder amal ALLES.

hast das ding noch wo anderst gepaired ? im apple forum gibts da ein problem wenn sie schon wo anderst gepaired is allerdings isses da via bootcamp

es war am gleichen pc unter XP gepaired. jetz hab ich am selben pc win7 installed. also: nein.

So. nach geschlagenen drei DREI!!! entnervten stunden schreib ich das auf meinem alten weissen Apple BT kezboard. der deutsche tastaturtreiber geht noch nicht, wie man eh sieht, weil z gleich y ist.. haha.

wie hab ich das geschafft wo ist das frageyeichen AUSYUCK.

So. Here it is. FINALLY!

Vorbemerkung: Keiner (KEINER) dieser ganzen Internet-Retards ist auch nur ANSATZWEISE in der Lage, in einem fucking posting der allgemeinheit eine anleitung zu geben, wie man das alte weisse apple bluetooth keyboard mit einem PC und windows 7 verbindet.

Diese Anleitung habe ich durch trial-and-error "erfunden" bzw "gefunden". Sie gilt für einen normalen Windows 7 PC mit der x86 WIn 7 version. Also NICHT FÜR MAC mit Win 7!

Hier die Step-by-Step anleitung:

1.: Ihr müsst _unbedingt_ vorher die Apple Bluetooth Treiber runterladen. Die gibts nur zusammen mit einem bootcamp installer. Dh, es wird zwangsweise Bootcamp gleich mitinstalled; die abfrage des installers iSv "ist das eh ein mac?" wird aber einfach overruled.

2.: Das Treiber/Bootcamp-Package gibts hier: http://rapidshare.com/#!download|356tg2|298655130|ApplekeyboardAll.rar|7628

3.: NAchdem ihr das package intsalled habt, rebootet ihr den rechner. und, um das system aufzuräumen, tuts ihr das bootcamp - und genau nur das bootcamp - wieder uninstallen.

4.: Ihr braucht neben dem Apple BT KB auch eine normale Tastatur, ich hatte eine am PS/2 port.

5.: Dann added ihr die Apple BT Tatstatur im Windows 7 BT manager. Search for devices, make sure that the device is discoverable.

6.: Das Apple BT KB scheint auf. Doppelklick drauf. Es kommt "connecting".

7.: Während dieser "connecting" message/diesem Status tippt ihr auf dem Apple BT KB einen 4 bis 6 stelligen code, zB "123456" (ohne anführungszeichen) ein und dann ENTER.

8.: Es kommt der pairing dialog, wo ihr einen key eingeben müssts. Jetzt gebt ihr den key - in meinem beispiel 123456 - mit dem NORMALEN (PS/2 oder USB) Keyboard und dann auf genau diesem normalen Keyboard ENTER ein.

9.: voila, fertig.

NACHTRAG: Wenn ihr das vorher ohne diese anleitung probiert habt, kann es sein, dass das Apple BT Keyboard Memory voll ist und einfach keine Tastenanschläge mehr angenommen werden. Um sicher zugehen, solltet ihr daher das Apple BT KB wie folgt "discoverable" machen:

---> Powerbutton runterschieben (wie normal beim einschalten) und mehr als 3sek GANZ unten halten!

NAchtrag2: es funktioniert wunderbar, auch nach einem restart. dass die sondertasten funktionieren, kann ich nicht bestätigen, aber das ist mir auch völlig wurscht.

SharpKeys installieren (imho nur "ausführen", weil alle Einträge und Änderungen direkt in der Registry abgelegt werden .. d.h. die Software läuft auch später NICHT im Hintergrund!) und alle Sondertasten nach eigenen Wünschen konfigurieren. Kann sein, daß die Eject-Taste sich nicht einstellen läßt.

DANKE an mich selber für dieses tutorial. hatte grad das phänomen, dass ein win 7 update mein BT keyboard gekillt hat. ich also wieder mal 1 stunde wutentbrannt herumgemurxt, mich dann erinnert, dass ich das tutorial ja auch für win 7 geschrieben habe, und: VOILA!

Gilt die Anleitung eigentlich auch noch für das neue alu-bt-keyboard?

Das weiss ich nicht, weil ich das alu bt kb nur am mini betreibe. ich möcht gscheite cursor tasten haben, daher hab ich das alu am pc sein lassen. es sollte aber genauso funktionieren.

Es geht alles auch mit den normalen BT Treibern, und zwar so, eigentlich genau wie unter XP:

I had the same problem trying to connect my Apple Wireless Keyboard to my PC running Windows 7. It could see it but would time out when trying to configure it. The previous solution of right-clicking Properties didn't work for me. What did work was:
1. Click Add device
2. Switch on wireless keyboard and select it when it appears
3. Click Next and while it says 'Connecting to device' type a pairing code on the Apple Wireless keyboard (e.g. 1234) and push 'Return'.
4. Windows 7 recognizes this as a pairing code and asks for the same code to be entered. (note: you need to use your existing wired keyboard to enter the code, not the wireless keyboard)
5. All done!!

Ich habe es gerade so gemacht. Mann, wie gut, dass es diesen Thread gibt - jedesmal ein Gaudium, wenn ich einen neuen Rechner zammbau.

Bleibt zu hoffen, dass das Forum keinen kompletten Datenverlust erleidet Sonst kommt Shodan nie mehr mit seinem BT-Keyboard und den Windows-PC's zusammen :-))
